Welcome to our monthly roundup, “the links.”
🕵️ Another Look
A video for As It Were readers
If you found this newsletter after April 11, 2022, then you may have missed In Praise of Roundabouts. That’s most of you, because I had just started.
I revisit this early essay almost a year later to see how it holds up.
Recording a YouTube video is strange. I prefer the control of writing. But control and comfort are not all they’re cracked up to be. I think the video format can bring new readers to the newsletter and resurface old favs.

🫂 Something to Share
One thing worth sharing. Could be art, music, business—especially when it’s independent or by friends.
Remi Wolf - Live at Electric Lady
Live interpretations are criminally underrated in new music. When an artist kills not just in the studio but live, I’ve got to share.
Remi was one of my top-listened artists in 2022, and even I missed the release of these tracks performed at Electric Lady Studios. I’ve corrected my mistake by listening nonstop in 2023.

Thank you as always! We’ve seen significant growth in the last month. I’m sitting on a subscriber milestone, so if you know someone who’d like the newsletter, send it their way.🫡
What is “the links”?
A monthly roundup of three parts: another look, something to share, and the links.
There’s no shortage of things to read/watch/listen to. With this roundup, I ease off of sending “more” and highlight work I think you’ll enjoy.
