Happy Monday👋🏼
I’m traveling to England this week. School related. I plan to share a little more in an upcoming essay.
Do you like flying? You’re braver than I. For some reason, the thought of crossing the ocean is getting to me a bit this time.
Really I shouldn’t worry; there are no villainous orcas in the sky tackling down planes—yet.
Although, the aliens may be returning from last week’s Vegas trip. I’ll try to steer clear.
But it’s poetry week on As It Were, and I realized I’m sitting on two poems about travel gone awry—one a haiku, the other a limerick. These should settle the nerves.
Enjoy🫡

Maiden Voyage

The salty blue waters crash under
The ink sky foreboding with thunder
We’re built for much more
Now far from the shore
But offered occasion to wonder
Anyway, enough terror.
Because I love you this much, I’ll keep my regular posting schedule while I’m away (at least by saying so, I’m publicly committed).
Have a great week. Avoid the orcas.
Tim
Dude yes, I heard about the orcas. Super crazy, but also mad respect haha
Safe travels!
